Cherise Wiltshire the principal director of Wiltshire Consultancy International (WCI), a premier consulting services firm based in Barbados, which is dedicated to ensuring its clients’ standards, processes and products are at the highest levels for local and international markets.
With almost 15 years of compliance and risk management experience, Cherise is considered to be one of the foremost professionals in this area throughout the Caribbean.
Along with her management and executive experience in the compliance, risk management and internal audit industries coupled with her well-known work ethic, she is a trusted resource within these areas.
Cherise graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Economics and Management from the University of the West Indies and her Masters in International Accounting and Finance from the University of Liverpool. She received her International Diploma in Compliance from Manchester Business School. Passionate about compliance and regulatory developments in the financial industry and promoting high compliance and ethical standards, she is also a fellow member of the International Compliance Association and is an executive member and Committee Chair of the Barbados Association of Compliance Professionals (BACP).
Cherise has spoken at several public engagements on her field of expertise including Inter- American Development Bank (IDB), Barbados Bar Association (BBA), Caribbean Regional Compliance Association (CRCA), the ComplianceAid & AMLFC Institute and the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) conferences within the region and beyond.
